Baking with Julia - White Loaves

Welcome back bakers and a very special welcome to all the new bakers. This is a new begining for our baking group. Today is the first recipe for our baking group from our new book, Baking with Julia.  After spending over 3 years baking through our last book, Baking from My Home to Yours, I am so excited to start on the next book.

White Loaves on page 81 is our first project.  I love baking bread and these were quick and easy to make.  They smelled wonderful while baking.  My family couldn't wait for these to cool .  They gobbled them up quickly.  We enjoyed them with soup for nice lunch.  This was a great recipe to start the new group.  Happy Baking.

You're so right, there is nothing like the smell and taste of homemade bread, fresh out of the oven! And yours looks amazing!

I was too late to join the first round, so was pleased to learn you were starting a new one. Looking forward to baking through the book with TwD veterans and newbies alike.
